Migration • Help to migrate to a fresh install

hello

i need a little help, I'm a bit lost between the different options.

i have actually a zimbra 10.1 server, on Ubuntu 20.04.

it's a server initially created with zimbra 9 and regularly updated to the latest version.

having had problems, probably due to too many configuration changes, I would like to start again from a clean base.

so, install a fresh new server (zimbra 10.1 on Ubuntu 22.04), and migrate mailbox from the old to the new.

I thought of using rsync from the doc "https://wiki.zimbra.com/wiki/Steps_To_R ... tion_steps" , but is this procedure still valid for zimbra 10.1?

and my fear is that the LDAP backup import step will not only import user details, but also the various changes made to the configuration, which I don't want.

i have only 30 users, so i can recreate manually the domain, each account, and import manually all mailbox.

but we use ZCO, and if I create new users, they will have different ids, which will cause problems with zco, right?

I've also found another way to backup mailbox using cli (https://bobcares.com/blog/zimbra-backup ... mand-line/) , but same pb with ZCO right?

or is there another way of importing mail account details (eventualy with including domain details) and mailboxes onto the new server without importing unwanted changes?

I've also thought about doing a “reset” of the zimbra config, to remove all the modifications I've made (such as the protocols used, aliases, psotscreen, anti-spam, etc.) before migrating to the new server, but I haven't found a procedure for doing this.

or maybe there's another way of doing it that I hadn't thought of?

thank you for your help :)
