When I make a calendar appointment across the daylight saving border, the GUI is wrong. I'm now in GMT+1 (CET), but in April I will be in GMT+2 (CEST; central european summer time). So what does the timezone for an appointment in April mean:
Is the appointment still in GMT+1? Or will it be in Europe/Amsterdam? I guess I will find out in a couple of weeks whether all my appointment shifted.
The region notation is function of date, translating to a literal time zone. So: 'Europe/Amsterdam in February' means GMT+1. 'Europe/Amsterdam in April' means GMT+2 (CEST). The current notation is therefore wrong.
The correct way would be to calculate the GMT +1 etc dynamically, based on date+region, I think?
Not sure whether this can be reported at Github? The web client repo doesn't have an issue tracker. Is it abandoned?
Current version is 8.8.15, classic Ajax GUI.
