Installation and Upgrade • DNSCache port conflict during install

I pretty much have a minimal Ubuntu Focal server.
I'll confess to the truth: I'm not anywhere near a Linux Guru, so apologies if I'm stating something evident about Ubuntu.

There is NO DNS server installed...NONE... Nor have I installed DNSmasq.

During installation, DNSCache states a port conflict at port 53. Some threads imply I have either a DNS server installed or DNSMasq, hence the problem. But I do not have anything but hostnamectl setting the hostname, and /etc/hosts, configured to have proper host names and /etc/netplan configuration pointing to my router as the default DNS server,

When the port conflict announcement occurred, I simply continued the installation and did nothing to resolve the conflict. Before Zimbra v10, DNS worked great; after installation, DNS bombed. So I used the command as a Zimbra user "/opt/zimbra/bin/zmdnscachectl stop", and DNS operations worked great.

My confusion is with regards as to how I can have a conflict siince there is no DNS server installed in Ubuntu prior to installing Zimbra. How is that possible?

One more question. Would it be OK to permanently not use DNScache and if so, what is the command to remove it?
