Administrators • New ServerMail Ip and Gmail flagging mails as spams

Hello,

I'll start by saying I'm here to gather some info to try and help a fellow IT currently managing our Mail Server/Zimbra.

I have no access to the admin page or any other info that might help out but I'll give it a try anyway.

Recently we had to migrate our webmail server to a new ip after some users got they're credential pished, hundreds of spam email got sent out and we got blacklisted , to speed things up and avoid disruption, they decided to migrate the Ip.
All good, apart that the site I'm currently supervising deals with debit collection, so the user use a database to gather info and then send a pre compiled massage to the personal Gmail account

Some users reported getting their message flagged as spam (they are delivered) so i tested out by changing the body of the email and the title to see if it was caused by the mail being identical every time.

All good, mail is now delivered to the inbox and not in the spam folder any more.

I'm relatively new to the IT field, as far as i know, SPF, DKIM and DMARC are a good starting point, other then "warming up the new IP"

Mail-Tester dot com gives a 10/10 score and "you are not fully authenticated - your reverse DNS does not match with your sending domain - there is no html version of your message"

Thanks for any suggestion and help
